Paresh Rawal is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. He has worked in numerous films and his performance has left a mark in the mind of viewers. Be it Babu Bhaiya of Hera Pheri or Ram Gopal Bajaj of Andaaz Apna Apna or Radheshyam Tiwari of Hungama, Paresh Rawal has won our hearts. But, not just in reel life, he has won our hearts in real life too! As the actor turns 67, here are 4 such instances when Paresh Rawal won our hearts in real life:
1. When Paresh Rawal took to Twitter to make an interesting suggestion about the term – HERO.
Paresh Rawal took to Twitter to give his two cents on why not actors, but the army and police personnel should be called heroes. In his tweet, he said, “We should start calling actors as ”entertainers” and our army and police as ”heroes” for our next generation to know the actual meaning of real heroes !!!” the veteran actor-politician tweeted.

2. When he completed Sharmaji Namkeen and dedicated the movie to Rishi Kapoor
The shoot of Sharmaji Namkeen was still underway at the time when Rishi Kapoor breathed his last. To help finish the film, Paresh Rawal stepped in and shot the remaining portions of Rishi Kapoor’s role. In an interview, while sharing his experience of working on the project, Paresh Rawal shared how the movie was his tribute to Rishi Kapoor.
“The challenge for me was what Rishi saab had done, I should not be destroying that. Whatever he has sawed, without vandalising that, I need to carry it forward in a subtle way. In short, it was a relay race that I had to complete. These were the thoughts in my mind while I signed the film. And when I sat with them, it suddenly struck me that this is for the first time something like this is happening in Bollywood the same character is played by two different actors. So slowly it started unfolding and I started to realise the recuperations of the decision. So ultimately I was shouldering a bigger responsibility. I wanted to enjoy the character as an actor, we were also giving a tribute to Rishi ji, so there were so many things in the movie for me to deliver.”
