When young women break their shells and raise voices against injustice, we not only feel happy but also hopeful for a brighter future.

When these voices are supported by their brave parents, it makes it even better!

Recently, a young scholar who appeared for her class XII exams has broken her silence about a sexual assault that happened 5 years back.

She has accused her former private maths tutor of sexually assaulting her and taking away her innocent childhood.

As per TOI, the brave girl (whose name is not revealed) gathered the courage to share her ordeal in an Instagram post.

Recalling her ordeal, she revealed the name of the accused and claimed that her tutor, who was almost 50 years old at that time, groomed and brainwashed her 12-year-old self.

As per TOI, she mentioned that she was assaulted for 2 months and later the tutor blackmailed her emotionally to not reveal it to anyone.

She further added that she decided to open up about her ordeal as she wanted to save other girls from becoming prey to the same person, as he is still taking classes at two places in Allahabad.

The post of this brave girl was later shared by her strong father – showing he supports her daughter and doesn’t care about ‘log kya kahengey’!

This post is a reflection of how strong parents are leaving no stone unturned while raising strong kids!

C.O. Civil Lines Brij Narayan Singh shared with Times Of India on Monday,

“Following a written complaint by girl’s family, a named FIR has been registered at Civil Lines police station against the tutor under relevant sections of POCSO Act. We are probing the matter and will subsequently arrest the accused.”

He further added:

“The girl says that she kept quiet for years because the accused used to threaten her. But now as she has come out with her ordeal, we have initiated action against the accused since she was a minor when the incident occurred.”

How Society Applauded Her Courage

The only question that every parent is asking themselves is how they can protect their kids. Doesn’t matter if you have a son or a daughter, you always feel threatened about the safety of your kid – you always feel scared that there is a predator waiting to take away the innocence of your kid.

In such an environment, we definitely need these young women and men to stand against their predators and build awareness among their peers and parents.

So, it wasn’t a surprise that many people came forward to congratulate this young lady on her courage and brave act. They also demanded strict action against the tutor.

Wish more young children learn from this brave girl and break their silence against child abuse.

In alignment with the POCSO Act, I For Her cannot reveal the names of the accused or the victim.
