Nita Ambani Used To Take A Local Bus To Go To College or School

Nita Ambani, who is the wife of one of the richest men in the world, made sure that her kids are raised with proper values. As per reports, Nita, who belonged to a middle-class family, used to take a local bus to go to her college or school. 

In one of the interviews, she shared how instead of sending her kids in their expensive cars, Nita Ambani used to send them to school by public transport.  She wanted her kids to be aware of a different lifestyle. “Life is about being aware of things around,” says Nita Ambani.

Nita Ambani: Down to earth person

Nita Ambani does not eat dinner until Mukesh Ambani returns home

As per many sources, Nita Ambani shared in an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times that Mukesh Ambani often comes home late but he always takes dinner with her. She further added that she does not eat dinner until Mukesh Ambani returns home, no matter how late he is. 

She further shared how the couple has decided that no matter how busy they are, they will spend quality time with each other whether it is at home or outside. Neeta Ambani and Mukesh often go on holiday together.

How much pocket money did Nita Ambani use to give to her kids?

In an earlier interview, Nita opened up about her kids’ pocket money. In her interview, she said, “When my kids were still young, I’d give them Rs 5 each and every Friday to spend in the school canteen.” She further added, “One day, my youngest, Anant, came running into my bedroom and demanded for Rs 10 instead,”

“When I questioned him, he said his pals in school laughed whenever they saw him take out a five-rupee coin saying,’Tu Ambani hai ya bhikari!’ Mukesh and I couldn’t help but crack up,” Nita added.

Further adding, she said,” My mum was a disciplinarian and we were barely allowed to go out – just four times in a year – and there was no pocket money given. Not to mention my curfew, which was midnight.”
