Recently, an advertisement of confectionery giant Cadbury’s touched the hearts of many and went viral over the internet for all the right reasons. Accepting the changing times, Ad Giant Ogilvy gave a progressive gender-swap twist to the famous advertisement of the 90s and created a positive message about celebrating the victories of women.
Many netizens felt nostalgia after hearing the tune of the ad. While the ad teleported many to the good old days, it also made them celebrate gender neutrality!

Even the famous music composer Shankar Mahadevan got nostalgic and proud about the song he composed almost 20 years back in 1993. Mahadevan shared the ad clip and wrote a message full of nostalgia.
“After 27 years it is back! The roles are reversed! The company has decided to retain the same song that I had recorded than in 1994.” He signed off the post with, “Nostalgiaaaa.”Â
