This has been an amazing week for Indian women in Sports. Earlier this week PV Sindhu became the 1st Indian shuttler to win gold at World Championships, followed by Manasi Joshi who brought us gold at the BWF Para World Championships.
The icing on the cake: Mary Kom was awarded Asia’s Best Woman Athlete.
All these strong women in Indian sports have proved that “Dreams Know No Gender“. And we as a society need to change the way we treat our daughters and give them a fair chance to achieve their goals.
At I For Her, we salute these women who are proving to the world that girls are no less. And we are thankful to their parents who are working relentlessly to give their daughters the best possible chance at achieving their dreams!
