Even At 60, Neena Gupta Makes Us Proud With A Double Win At Boston Film Festival

Famous for making bold choices, actress Neena Gupta is an inspiration for every strong and independent woman in this world.

Through her professional and personal decisions, she has not only touched our heart but also inspired many of us to take the road less traveled.

And, now she has had a double win at the Indian International Film Festival of Boston.

While this 60-year-old actress has won the Best Actress, her movie The Last Color has also won the Best Feature Film.

Though this post inspired many to come forward to support her, it made us wonder why even after delivering highly effective performance, this supremely talented actress stopped getting good Bollywood projects.

However, she never gave up and started her second innings in Bollywood with great projects like Badhaai Ho, Veere Di Wedding, and Mulk among others.

With every project, she has shattered the social norms to portray a strong and independent woman of today, who is neither shy nor weak.

Even her new project – The Last Color – is no different. One of a kind, the heart-touching film portrays the taboo surrounding widows in Vrindavan and Varanasi in India.

The movie has been recognized at various Film Festivals including New York Indian Film Festival 2019 and Indie Meme Film Festival across the world.

So, it was obvious for the maker of the movie, famous chef, Vikas Khanna to be proud of this great achievement:
