When parents believe in their daughters, they achieve wonderful things. One such daughter who made her supportive parents proud is Saina Aggarwal.
When on Monday, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the results, Saina Agarwal gave her family a huge reason to celebrate. As per reports, she has emerged as a topper in the CA foundation examination.
Hailing from Junagarh in Kalahandi district, Odisha, Saina topped the CA Foundation November 2019 examination by scoring an impressive 91.25 percent marks. A total of 91,045 candidates appeared for the CA Foundation November Examination and 90, 048 candidates appeared for the CA Inter examination.
While sharing the details of her successful journey so far, Saina mentioned to the Odishatv:
“It was due to the blessings of my teachers and parents that I topped the CA exam. I always believe that nothing is impossible if a person works dedicatedly works towards his/her goal.”
While urging students to focus on their goal and take small steps at a time, Saina thanked her parents for their encouragement and support. She mentioned:
“I only used to study for 7 to 8 hours a day. I believe in smart work instead of hard work. I am happy that I got the required support and encouragement from my family.”
It’s not only Saina’s achievement, but it is also the biggest achievement of her parents. Unlike many other parents in India, these inspiring parents believed that daughters are no less than sons.
While sharing his happiness, Saina’s father, Sunil Agarwal said,
“There was no restriction on Saina as the family always encouraged her to pursue her dreams. We were inspired by the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign. Hence, our focus was to provide all the logistics and moral support to Saina who wants to prepare for the civil services as well.”
On her daughter’s achievement, Saina’s mother also shared:
“She (Saina) has achieved a lot more than she dreamt of.”
In a society, where daughters are seen as a liability, it is more important than ever that we celebrate people like Saina’s parents.
At IFORHER, we salute Saina and her parents for showing the society what our daughters could do if they are blessed with supportive parents.
