In a heartbreaking incident, celebrity chef Vikas Khanna’s sister Radhika passed away as she suffered due to multiple organ failure on Monday. She was 48 years old. Grieving Vikas Khanna took to his social media accounts to share a heartbreaking post about his sister’s demise.
In the emotional post, Vikas wrote about how Radhika was not just her sister but also his soulmate and his best friend. He also mentioned how she breathed her last in his arms.
As per Vikas Khanna’s post, Radhika was battling with Lupus, renal failure, and aHUS (i.e. atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome, a rare disease that causes tiny blood clots in the body’s small blood vessels, according to the American Kidney Fund) – for years.
Vikas, who is shattered after Radhika’s death, wrote: “My soulmate left me today. March 23, 1974 – Feb 28, 2022… She fought like a champion for years,” he wrote. He added that his sister would stay in his heart, forever. “I’ll miss you & try to fulfill all your incomplete dreams & promises”Â
