Did Kriti Sanon Name Her Production House In Memory Of Sushant Singh Rajput?
Notably, some fans observed a connection between Kriti Sanon’s Blue Butterfly films and the late Sushant Singh Rajput. Kriti and Sushant shared a close friendship and had previously worked together in the film Raabta (2017).
Following Sushant’s tragic demise in 2020, Kriti often remembers about their bond. Sushant frequently used blue butterflies in his Instagram captions, explaining that they symbolize emergence, resonance, and the magical connection between individuals. For the unversed, he used Blue Butterflies in connection with the Butterfly Effect. The butterfly effect is the idea that small things can have non-linear impacts on a complex system. The concept is imagined as a butterfly flapping its wings and causing a typhoon.
Once, a fan even asked him about the same, to which, the actor explained why he used the symbol so often. Sushant wrote, “Blue Butterfly signifies the emergence, the inevitable, the resonance, between you and I and all of us. For feelings you could trust, for meanings you could refer to chaos theory/ complexity theory/ fractals/ non linear dynamics/ butterfly effect/ philospphy science/ complex numbers/ cognitive science/ behavioural economics etc etc…. but we could also just, feel, I move my fingers here and you smile there it is resonance my love, magical, (blue butterfly emoji) (sic).”
Netizens React To Kriti Sanon Naming Production House – Blue Butterfly Films
Several fans took to the comments section of Kriti Sanon’s post to acknowledge this heartfelt connection with Sushant Singh Rajput.
Another netizen mentioned, “Kriti’s new production house name: blue butterfly films. Sushant used alot of 🦋in his posts and comments. Kriti has a 🦋 in her bio. Not sure if it’s something they both shared with each other but this seems deliberate on her part to remember him. Back when his unfortunate news came, people were really harsh on her for not immediately responding to the news and keeping quiet. But over the years we can see through she has honoured Sushant in the most beautiful way without making it about her or being a attention seeker.”
One user wrote, “More power to women producers but especially when they’re outsiders who’ve seen how bad things are within the industry. I hope Kriti is able to give wing to newcomers behind and in front of the camera who don’t have the backing of big producers or star parents. That would be another lovely way to commemorate SSR’s legacy and forge her own along the way.”
Someone wrote, “I don’t know but I always felt Kriti’s affection for Sushant was always genuine. Don’t want to go into the details of their break up and all the stories that floated around after his death but I wish he remained with Kriti.”
A netizen mentioned, “Love this as a tribute, if it is. Subtle, classy” Someone mentioned, “I wish they could be together forever and end up like Sid Kiara.”
On the professional front, Kriti Sanon recently garnered attention for her performance in Om Raut’s Adipurush. Portraying the character of Janaki (based on Sita), she starred alongside Prabhas as Raghav (based on Rama), Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Ravana), Sunny Singh as Lakshman, and Devdutta Nage as Bajrang. Furthermore, Kriti has upcoming projects such as The Crew, featuring Kareena Kapoor and Tabu, as well as a film alongside Shahid Kapoor titled Ganapath, eagerly awaited by her fans and audiences alike.
