This film stands out as the strangest among the others, not because it involves a grandmother discussing sex with her granddaughter, but because it lacks tactfulness. Neena Gupta plays a grandmother character that the director may have thought of as ‘progressive’. However, her sudden and indiscreet talk about sex, even in front of potential in-laws, feels inappropriate and lacks social decency. Breaking taboos is one thing, but this short film fails to distinguish between that and simply being crass.
