Recently, Amitabh Bachchan starrer Uunchai’s trailer left the internet teary-eyed. Starring a legendary ensemble of Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, and Sarika among others, the movie is about an elderly friendship. The movie is about three friends, who trek to the Everest base camp to honor their friend’s last wish.
The popular movie maker Sooraj Barjatya is behind this unconventional movie. The way Sooraj created magic with his movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, we hope he will not leave his fans disappointed. The trailer opens with magnificent snow-covered Himalayas and a friend’s (Danny Denzongpa) wish to climb Mount Everest along with his other three friends (played by Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher.) But, unfortunately, the friend dies, and to honor his last wish, the three friends decide to trek to the Everest base camp to spread their late friend’s ashes. And, how, with the help of the team leader (Parineeti Chopra), the three friends leave their cozy lives to trek to Everest Base Camp for the sake of friendship is the core of this beautiful movie.
The hard-hitting Amitabh Bachchan’s monologue – “We won’t sit at home. We want to climb mountains and cross rivers and explore forests.” – this leaves you inspired and teary-eyed at the same time. The trailer has the power to make you cry and smile at the same time.
