Well, hold on to your seats because Arshad Warsi has just spilled the beans on the upcoming “Jolly LLB 3” starring none other than the Khiladi himself, Akshay Kumar!
In an exclusive interview with Telly Chakkar, Arshad Warsi spilled all the deets, confirming that the third installment of “Jolly LLB” is officially in the works. And guess what? Akshay Kumar will be reprising his role as Jolly, and Arshad himself will be joining forces with him in this legal rollercoaster. Can we get a round of applause for this epic reunion? Fans are undoubtedly going bonkers over this news!
During the interview, when Arshad Warsi was asked about the much-anticipated Munna Bhai 3, he said, “Munna Bhai 3 is not happening; Sanjay (Dutt) and I want it to happen, Raju (Hirani) wants to make it and Vidhu (Vinod Chopra) wants to produce it. But for now, it’s not happening. Jolly LLB 3 with Akshay is happening. The writer of Dhamaal called me and said that he is working on the next. About Golmaal 5, I believe one day, Rohit (Shetty) will just call us to shoot the film in Goa. He can actually do that.”
Jolly LLB: One of the most successful Indian courtroom comedy drama
No one can deny that Subhash Kapoor-directed courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB is one of the finest movies of recent times. Starring Arshad Warsi, this 2013 movie left many surprised as it not only received positive reviews but also turned out to be an unexpected box-office success. And, after four years, when the makers decided to come up with the second installment of the franchise, they replaced Arshad Warsi with Akshay Kumar.
And, riding on the success of its predecessor, Jolly LLB 2 or The State vs Jolly LLB 2, turned out to be a bigger box office success than the original. And, now, as per the reports, the makers are planning to come up with the third installment i.e. Jolly LLB3. And, to make it even bigger and better, the makers have roped in both Akshay Kumar & Arshad Warsi as the leading characters.

As per the media outlet, the movie will feature Arshad Warsi as Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly & Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra aka Jolly and it’s going to be Jolly 1 vs Jolly 2 in Jolly LLB 3.
“Subhash Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Arshad Warsi have been toying with the idea of Jolly LLB 3 for a while now and the things have fallen in place. Subhash has cracked a subject that warrants a face-off between the two Jollys. It’s hilarious with a very relevant topic for debate in the court of law”, quoted by media outlet Pinkvilla. With Jolly LLB3, Saurabh Shukla will return as Justice Sunderlal Tripathi, the role he played in both the previous parts.
Talking further about the movie, the source added, “The idea is to create the ambiance of a big screen courtroom drama and hence, efforts have been taken to make it a multi-genre film, with the right blend of humor with drama and thrill. Finishing touches are being given to the script at the moment and the team will then move on to the pre-production stage. The idea is to take the film on floors in the first half of 2023”.
According to a source close to Pinkvilla, the brilliant minds behind “Jolly LLB 3” have cooked up an exciting face-off between the two Jollys, filled with hilarious moments and thought-provoking legal debates. We can’t wait to witness the fireworks as Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi team up once again to bring their magic to the big screen.
