The world of web series has brought to light an array of brilliant actors whose talents have left an indelible mark on audiences. Despite their incredible performances, many of these artists have yet to receive the recognition they deserve from Bollywood. Here, we celebrate six standout performances from recent web shows and explore why these actors should be valued more by the film industry.
1. Jitendra Kumar
Jitendra Kumar is no stranger to amazing web series. Be it Panchayat or Kota Factory – he has always left his audience impressed with his super-talented acts. Be it comedy or super-complex human emotions, Jitendra Kumar has always aced them with finesse. We hope Bollywood will value his talent and give him better opportunities on the big screen.
2. Mayur More
Mayur More – who has won the hearts of the audience through his portrayals in Kota Factory and Slum Golf – definitely deserves better. We hope Bollywood will see his talent and offer him good opportunities. We have full confidence that he will shine through.
3. Ranjan Raj
While Jeetu Bhaiya from Kota Factory may have his fanbase, Balmukund Meena has his own dedicated fan following. Meena – an unconventional character of an innocent and nerdy guy – is so well-portrayed by Ranjan Raj. How Ranjan Raj made Meena so special for us is a reminder of his talent. We hope Bollywood will realize his talent and offer him better roles.
4. The Whole Family Cast from Gullak
Gullak’s entire family cast is so talented that we wonder why Bollywood hasn’t cast them in any recent impactful roles. Be it Vaibhav Raj (Annu), Harsh Mayar (Aman), Jameel Khan (Santosh Mishra), Geetanjali Kulkarni (Shanti Mishra), or Sunita Rajwar (Bittu ki Mummy) – all these super talented actors deserve better opportunities.
5. Ahsaas Channa
Ahsaas Channa is one of the finest web actors. Be it Half CA or Kota Factory, she has won the audience over with her talent. Ahsaas Channa is not new to Bollywood. She made her Bollywood debut as a child artist with the film Vaastu Shastra. Later, she was seen in films like My Friend Ganesha and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. We hope Bollywood will soon cast her in more hard-hitting roles on the big screen.
6. Faisal Malik
While everyone in Panchayat gave powerful performances, Prahlad (Faisal Malik) left a lasting impression and won the audience over. Be it his funny one-liners or heart-wrenching emotional scenes, Faisal Malik as Prahlad created his own place in our hearts. Will Bollywood realize the value of his talent and give him better, hard-hitting roles?
