It is quite disappointing how Akshay Kumar, once the crowd puller, has failed miserably at getting the audience to cinema halls to watch his recent movies. Sadly, Akshay Kumar’s movies are failing miserably at the box office. While 2022 was horrible, 2023 also brought bad news when Akshay Kumar registered the lowest opening for movies in his career. With ‘Selfiee’ and ‘Mission Raniganj,’ Akshay Kumar managed to earn a mere opening of 2-3 crores at a time when some blockbusters have managed to earn even 100 crores at the box office.
One of the many reasons why Akshay’s movies are performing so badly at the box office is that he is releasing too many movies. Despite flop after flop, Akshay Kumar is not paying any attention to the audience’s advice, telling him to focus on quality over quantity, and is continuing to work on 10 movies.
