October 14 saw the release of Doctor G, starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the leading role. And within the weekend of the release, the audiences are already praising it. In the movie Doctor G, Ayushmann plays the role of Uday Gupta, a medical student. Uday has been assigned gynecology as a specialty but wants to become an orthopedic. Why? Because he feels gynecology is a female profession, and he is stuck in an all-female class. The movie shows how Dr. Nandini (played by Shefali Shah) convinces Uday to continue as a gynecologist and makes him lose his ‘male touch’.

Walked into #DoctorG without even watching the trailer and ended up having a great time. A sweet coming-of-age tale that’s progressive yet unpretentious. Shefali Shah and Sheeba Chaddha walk away with the best characters in this good old Ayushmann Khurrana entertainer™. pic.twitter.com/8FGX1jyG26
