Back in early 2000s, John Abraham was a craze. He was definitely one of the coolest Bollywood star that many of us had crush on. Much before the world renowned Money Heist series, John starred in India’s biggest heist movie – Dhoom. And, no one can deny that his performance left everyone surprised.
As Pathaan continues breaking records at box-office, many people have come forward to applaud not just Shah Rukh Khan but John Abraham too!
From being the original baddie in Dhoom to now going toe-to-toe against the Baadshah himself, John Abraham’s swagger is ready to lit up the big screen again!!
Many shared how John Abraham always plays the best villain – be it Dhoom, Race 2, New York, Zinda, Ek Villain Returns, Madhoshi and Shootout at Wadala and now Pathaan!

Some even shared that John’s performance was way better than that of Shah Rukh Khan. They are hailing him as the coolest, swaggiest and the most stylish antagonist of Indian cinema.
Only thing I liked about #PathaanMovie is John Abraham as villain. Watching Deepika’s role in movie reminded me of Alia Bhatt in Brahmastra and zabardasti love angle. I sincerely feel that these Boycott gangs are actually helping in creating unnecessary hype for movie.
John Abraham as Jim was everything. It gave me so much joy to watch a man who is actually so underrated, watching him took me to Kabir in Dhoom. He literally invented stylised villain back in 2004, and he’s just carrying that on in Pathaan.#Pathaan
John Abraham is so menacing & powerful, plays a no nonsense villain so effortlessly & with class, he came out shining in the role of Jim. His mannerism & dialogue delivery was perfect. He was scaring me on some occasions. Audience even cheered on his entry and many other scenes. pic.twitter.com/Cx7DHHEFAh
Even Shah Rukh Khan during a press conference called John Abraham the backbone of Pathaan.
“I genuinely feel that the backbone and the best thing about Pathaan is Jim, played by John. John ho picture me lo toh kapdon ka kharcha bhi kam aata hai, (when John is in the film, the cost of clothing is also less),” said SRK.
Further sharing how John helped him with action scenes, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Secondly, I know very little action but in the motorcycle sequences, he was so kind to me. He just wanted me to be correct and not get hurt.”
No one can deny that John Abraham has proved multiple times that he is one of the sassiest and most dangerous villain. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below.
