Rohit Shetty, who is making a comeback with Singham 3 after the setback of Cirkus, has exciting plans to expand his cop universe with a female-centric movie starring none other than Deepika Padukone.

For those unaware, Deepika Padukone will be portraying the role of a fearless IPS officer named Satya Shetty in Singham 3.
According to a report by News18, Rohit stated, ‘She is like one of the heroes, and what we are doing is focusing on her story. We will make a film which solely revolves around Deepika… it’s her story… Like Sooryavanshi, Singham, and Simmba, where the characters were already introduced, Singham Again will introduce these characters and then delve into their stories.’
Did you know that Deepika will be portraying the most aggressive police officer in the Cop Universe? Yes, according to Rohit Shetty, Deepika’s character will be the most fierce and relentless officer in the cop universe.
Introducing Deepika’s character, Rohit Shetty wrote on Instagram, ‘She embodies both the essence of Sita and the fierceness of Durga… Meet the most aggressive and relentless officer in our cop universe… Shakti Shetty… My lady Singham… Deepika Padukone.’

After Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, Singham 3 or Singham Again will be the fifth installment of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. Originally set to release on August 15, Singham 3 has been postponed to the Diwali 2024 weekend to avoid clashing with Pushpa 2: The Rule, coinciding with the release of Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
