Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzaada opened to low start. Being a remake of …..,, the movie failed to create the magic of originals. The movie also opened to a very disappointing slow start!
#Shehzada disappoints on Day 1, despite buy-one-get-one-free offer… National chains ordinary, mass circuits dull… #MahaShivratri holiday on Day 2 may improve biz, but needs bigger jumps for a respectable weekend total… Fri ₹ 6 cr [+/-]. #India biz. pic.twitter.com/xBc2aDKWIR
Along with Kartik Aaryan, the movie stars Kriti Sanon in the lead role under the direction of Rohit Dhawan. For the unversed, the movie is a remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The movie recently hit the theatres and left the audience disappointed.
From calling it a painful remake to turning a great original into a shitty remake, people shared their disappointment. Here’s how people reacted:
after seeing opening of shehzada, i’m now confirmed that bhool bhulaiyaa 2 got good opening bcs of it’s franchise not bcs of kartik. this’s what we call karma, the way his fans & paid media wr ignoring tabu mam’s phenomenal acting in bb2 and giving all credit to him was bizarre🤧
Kartik this time should not have choosen remake script should brought something new but this is Bollywood after original content success of pathaan they are back to where they belong @TheAaryanKartik#shehzada review ⭐⭐✨ #PathaanDay
#KritiSanon really needs to sign a commercial film Her last hit was Housefull 4(multistarrer movie) After that she gave Panipat, BP, Bhediya#Shehzada will do average business#Adipurush is also looking risky right now#Ganapath ka kuch pata nhi
We hope Bollywood would stop making remakes that no one wants. Rather than spending money on lousy remakes, it would be better to release the originals with the dubbed versions. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below.
