No one can deny that all the movie buffs were thrilled when Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan came together on the big screen for one of Bollywood’s most successful movies of all time—Pathaan. Though the presence of the superstars together was brief, no one can deny that its impact was long-lasting. Many people went bonkers when the two appeared on the screen after a very long time. And, especially the dialogue exchange at the end of the movie – bachon pe nahin chod sakte – left everyone so excited.
Just like Pathaan, people are now excited for Tiger 3 and Tiger vs. Pathaan, where SRK and Salman will once again share the big screen. Many are eagerly waiting for the two biggest stars of Indian cinema to come together on the big screen, once again.
Recently, Aamir Khan had to face the brunt of this excitement due to an old news item about him rejecting a movie with Shah Rukh Khan.
The news related to an old movie starring Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan went viral. In the early 2000s, Rajkumar Santoshi planned to direct Rashk, starring Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Aamir Khan even accepted the signing amount but later returned it before the start of the movie.
According to various reports, Aamir rejected the movie because he wanted to portray the role that was offered to Shah Rukh Khan. Additionally, Aamir wanted Rajkumar to commit only to Rashk and not to any other projects.
Reacting to the story, many Reddit users took to social media and shared their comments about Aamir’s rejection, stating, ‘I feel Aamir has such a big ego that he’d never work with other biggies, especially Khans. Like cameos are fine, but a full movie, nope. I feel he’d be conscious of being overshadowed by SRK.’
Fans expressed their discontent with Aamir Khan for rejecting the film, with one user stating, ‘Ewww no! Unless Aamir uncle fixes his ego and overacting,’ subtly mocking Aamir Khan’s decision.
It is very clear that many are disappointed with Aamir for passing on the opportunity to work alongside SRK in this film. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below.
