After Drishyam 2 roaring success, Bollywood is ready with another entertainer – Bhediya. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon hit the theatres on Friday and opened to mixed reactions. No one can deny that it is one of the most ambitious projects of Varun’s career as he turns a werewolf. Unfortunately, the movie is still struggling to compete against the blockbuster Drishyam 2.
‘DRISHYAM 2’ continues to gallop at the ticket counters. It fetched Rs 7.5 crore net on its second Friday (8th day) after racking up Rs 104 crore net in first week.
The 8th day collections of ‘DRISHYAM 2’ are higher than 1st day of ‘BHEDIYA’.
Audience has warmed up to coming to theatres with and that has been proved by #Brahmastra and #Drishyam2 but we are not ready for clashes and Big Movies Releasing Closely. (Like in case of Drishyam 2 and Bhediya).
#BhediyaReview finally done watching bhediya in 3d. Film is a full on visual treat . No too much lag, predictable twist but yet keeps you hooked. Varun in a never seen before avatha. a banarjee is a wholesome package laughed alot. Good first and second half too. pic.twitter.com/Q6q7v0Rag3
For a movie with budget of 60cr #Bhediya definitely overpowered all the other visual effects movies in Bollywood.#Brahmastra & #Adipurush are overhyped, Bhediya is a perfect example that you don’t need huge budget to make a visually appealing movie.#BhediyaReview
Just finished #Bhediya – Just syncing in… A unique story executed so well. It’s dark and gruesome at times. I hope people don’t compare with stree too much cos that experience was something else, this is something else. I liked it. Masses might not. Let’s hope for the best.
