1. Tourist Family (June 2 – JioHotstar)
A story of survival, identity, and resilience with a post-pandemic twist. Dharmadas and his family flee Sri Lanka’s chaos, only to fake being Malayalis in Chennai. Language barriers, cultural clashes, and emotional trauma all unfold quietly and powerfully. But just when they start building a life, a bombing investigation threatens to tear it apart. Starring M. Sasikumar and Simran, this one is tender, layered, and painfully real. It’s not just a migration story—it’s about finding home when the world’s turned upside down.
2. One of Them Days (June 2 – Netflix)
Rent’s due. The boyfriend ghosted. Chaos is the only plan. Two broke besties go full hustle mode when their rent money vanishes. From selling blood (bad idea) to dealing with gangsters (worse idea), nothing goes according to plan. But somewhere in the mess, art happens—and so does growth, sisterhood, and big laughs. This is your perfect messy, vibrant, Gen Z comedy with heart and hustle. Best enjoyed with snacks, volume up, and your own bestie by your side.
3. Chhal Kapat – The Deception (June 6 – Zee5)
During a lavish destination wedding, a popular influencer is found dead under mysterious circumstances. As chaos unfolds, a sharp and determined police officer takes charge of the investigation. With secrets hiding behind every smile and suspicion falling on close friends and family, the officer must untangle a web of lies to uncover the truth. Chhal Kapat: The Deception promises a gripping crime thriller with unexpected twists and strong performances by Shriya Pilgaonkar, Kamya Ahlawat, Ragini Dwivedi, and others. Get ready for drama, suspense, and shocking revelations.
4. Stick (June 4 – Apple TV+)
Owen Wilson plays a once-great golf champ now down on his luck and self-esteem. He’s roped into mentoring a moody teenage prodigy with no filter and even less discipline. What follows? Life lessons, emotional bunker shots, and a few hilariously bad swings. Think Ted Lasso with divots, drama, and the occasional midlife meltdown. It’s feel-good without being cheesy, and funny without losing depth. And yes, golf has never looked this emotionally complicated.
5. Stolen (June 4 – Prime Video)
A baby is snatched from a train station, and two brothers throw themselves into a dangerous rescue mission. Set in rural India, this taut thriller is soaked in tension, dust, and ethical dilemmas. Directed by Karan Tejpal and backed by a powerhouse production crew including Kashyap and Rao. Abhishek Banerjee gives a career-defining performance in a story about conscience vs. survival. If you’re into indie thrillers with moral complexity, Stolen will leave a mark.
6. Jaat (June 5 – Netflix)
Sunny Deol is back in full action mode and we are LIVING for it. He plays Brigadier Baldev, who just wants breakfast—but ends up taking down a crime empire instead. Set in a coastal Andhra village plagued by a ruthless gangster (played by Randeep Hooda, no less), this is peak mass masala. There are fists, firepower, and freedom fights with maximum drama. Expect blood, sweat, and Deol’s signature dhai-kilo-ka-haath energy.
7. Ginny & Georgia: Season 3 (June 5 – Netflix)
Weddings, murder, and teenage angst—this family’s got it all. Season 3 kicks off with Georgia’s arrest for a literal murder during her wedding. Ginny’s torn between supporting her mom and facing uncomfortable truths about her own life. There’s house arrest, therapy, courtroom drama, and new people stirring the pot. The Millers’ world is messier than ever, but you won’t be able to look away. One thing’s for sure: this mother-daughter duo doesn’t do boring.
8. Tires: Season 2 (June 5 – Netflix)
They fix cars – but can they fix their lives? Season 2 of this hilarious workplace comedy returns to Valley Forge Automotive Center where cousins Will (Steve Gerben) and Shane (comedian Shane Gillis) are trying to turn their small-town tire shop into a big-deal business. Spoiler: It does not go smoothly.
9. Mercy for None (June 6 – Netflix)
Brace yourself for Seoul’s darkest corners, because Mercy for None is the kind of gritty revenge noir that’ll punch you in the feelings. So Ji-sub stars as Nam Gi-jun, a former gang enforcer who quit the game by literally cutting his Achilles tendon to protect his younger brother. But when that very brother—now in a rival gang—is murdered right before retirement, the bat comes out and revenge kicks in.
10. Straw (June 6 – Netflix)
Tyler Perry swaps out melodrama for raw realness in this heavy-hitting social thriller. Taraji P. Henson delivers a powerhouse performance as Janiyah, a single mother barely surviving—until a routine check cashing errand turns into a nightmare when she’s wrongly accused of robbing a bank.
11. The Survivors (June 6 – Netflix)
Murder, mystery, and emotional shipwrecks crash onto the shores of Evelyn Bay, Tasmania in this haunting Australian miniseries based on Jane Harper’s novel. When Kieran Elliott (Charlie Vickers) returns to care for his father, he also unearths the storm of guilt from a tragic incident years ago. But then—another death rocks the town, and buried secrets come clawing to the surface.
12. Bhool Chuk Maaf (Tentative June 6 – Prime Video)
Rom-com chaos meets small-town desi drama! Rajkummar Rao is Ranjan, a hopeless romantic who thinks landing a government job will win back his ladylove, Titli—played by the ever-charming Wamiqa Gabbi. Set in the colorful streets of Varanasi, this film brings laughs, love, and one major spiritual mix-up. Ranjan forgets a promise he made to Lord Shiva (oops), and now he’s stuck in a karmic mess just before his big wedding.
