1. Captain Miller
Captain Miller, the inaugural segment of a trilogy planned by director Arun Matheswaran, makes its debut on Amazon Prime Video this week. Set in the pre-independence era, the narrative centers on the life of Analeesan (Dhanush), also known as Eesa. While his elder brother, Sengola (Shiva), actively participates in the Independence Movement, Eesa remains idle. However, a village conflict propels him to enlist in the British Indian Army in search of respect. Garnering the moniker Captain Miller, an unfortunate incident serves as a reality check, transforming him into a revolutionary.

Through this film, Shahid and Kriti are going to be seen together on a big screen for the first time. The story of the film shows Kriti (Sifra) as a robot who is seen in love with Shahid Kapoor when they both meet during an official assignment in the US and falls in love with her only to discover later that she’s a robot.
Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film ‘Lal Salaam’, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, is set to release on February 9, 2024. The movie marks the comeback of Aishwarya Rajinikanth after eight years. The film features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in leading roles and has music composed by AR Rahman.Lal Salaam is rumoured to be set against the backdrop of cricket and communalism.
