It’s never easy to lose a parent. Though people say time heals all wounds but sadly, the pain of losing a parent never fades away. It always stays with us as we learn how to live with it.
Recently, a daughter, who lost her father, broke when she witnessed a heartwarming way to include him in all her wedding functions. In an undated video, which has gone viral now, a bride gets emotional as she sees her father’s life-size wax statue at her wedding. This really sweet gesture of involving her late father in her marriage touched the hearts of so many.
As per the sources, the surprise was planned by her brother, Avula Phani, who surprised her with a wax statue of their late dad, Avula Subrahmanyam. Earlier in an interview, Phani shared that he used to live in the United States of America.
In the viral videos and pictures, a bride is seen crying as she sees her father being brought to her in a wheelchair. The wax statue looks so perfect and real that many attending the wedding could be seen crying.
As the bride kisses her late father’s statue and hugs it, the entire family and wedding attendees can be seen involving the statue in all their functions.

As per sources, Phani’s father contracted COVID-19. Due to COVID, his oxygen level dropped miserably. Phani’s father later succumbed to COVID-19 complications. The wax statue of their dad was made in Karnataka and took more than a year to complete. Here’s the video of the event:
