In a heart-touching video, the boy with Down Syndrome has shown the world how ‘a friend in need is a friend indeed’.
We live in a world full of sadness and despair. In such a world, we need a reminder that there is still hope.
A video of one such beautiful reminder shows a schoolboy with Down syndrome comforting his crying friend – another boy suffering from autism. It is the most humane thing to see a young boy coming to his friend’s rescue.
This viral video has been reportedly shot by the teacher at a school in Mexico.
In this heart-touching video, you can see a child crying while sitting at a table in the classroom. But in that emotional and panic moment, his friend affectionately hugs him. And, then pats his back and strokes his hair gently. He not only wipes his tears but also tries to cheer him up.
Here’s the heartwarming video.
This video has garnered over 18 million views, 476k shares, and 144k reactions.
This isn’t the first time that we have seen beautiful instances of people going the extra mile to help other people in need. For almost 6 years, 12-year-old Xu Bingyang has been giving his best friend Zhang Ze a piggyback ride to their school and class prove his friendship.
According to Mail Online, Zhang Ze was diagnosed with a rare muscle condition, sometimes known as the ragdoll disease, at the age of four. Because of this condition, he couldn’t walk.
But thanks to his friend, nothing has changed. Xu began giving Zhang a piggyback ride to and from school every day, and between classes. He said:
“I weigh more than 40kg and Zhang Ze only weighs about 25kg, so it’s okay for me to carry him.”
In another video, a schoolboy eating his own food and simultaneously feeding his specially-abled friend will also bring happiness on your face. Watch the video here:

At IFORHER, we applaud these lovable spirits who stand for each other in an era when grown-ups have forgotten the meaning of humanity.
