One thing that we extremely hate about interview calls is the salary negotiation round. This round leaves many anxious as there are multiple rounds of negotiation that happen. Firstly, HR asks about your expectations and whatever number you quote, HR comes back with an excuse of the company’s limited budget. And, after multiple rounds of to and fro, you are so tired that you agree with whatever HR has to offer. And, later, you feel guilty that you should have asked for more. Man, we just hate bargaining rounds that happen during interview rounds. We simply hate them!
But, according to the Internet, if there is someone who can ace the salary negotiation round, then that’s our mother. A software developer recently posted an idea to bring his mother on a salary negotiation call. And, his idea got a lot of traction on social media.
Nitish Yadav, posted a screenshot of his tweet on Linkedin that garnered more than 100,000+ likes so far. In his post, he said -“Can I bring my mother on a salary negotiation call? She can definitely make a better deal,”Here’s the post:
And, here’s how the people on Linkedin reacted:

Another LinkedIn user, R Akaash, posted a hilarious meme:
We wonder how our mothers negotiate so easily while we struggle so miserably. One thing that we must learn from our mothers is how easily they bargain or negotiate. We wish our mothers could also pass on a fraction of their negotiating powers so that we won’t struggle so much when it comes to negotiating with strangers.
