A netizen named Prekhsa recently shared a reel of her parents getting emotional as they drop her off at her dream college – Miranda House College in Delhi. In this heart-touching reel, her dad couldn’t hold back his tears as he sends his daughter off to her dream destination.
Prekhsa took to her Instagram to share a reel of a very special moment of her dad suddenly becoming emotional and tears rolling down his eyes as the family of three explored college.
She shared the reel with the caption: “They were dropping me off at ‘our’ dream destination Miranda House College, Delhi University. It was my first day so we were just exploring the campus and suddenly I noticed tears rolling down my father’s eyes,”
She further shared that her dad was overwhelmed with happiness and emotions. After witnessing such pride in her parent’s eyes, Prekhsa felt all her hard work finally paid off.
She further added, “The fact that his jigar ka tukda will be living far away from him was a bitter truth too. But those tears told me that all the sacrifices I made, all the hard work I did, each and everything I did to achieve this dream was all worth it in the end. All I can say is I can do anything to see your smiley faces and sparkling eyes! Thankyou mumma papa. I love you,”
