One such daughter who recently took onto social media to express gratitude for her mother, Sharmila Tagore, is Soha Ali Khan.
Soha Ali Khan who embarked on the journey of motherhood sometime back recently reflected on the emotions for her mother.
After becoming a mother to Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, Soha started understanding the things her mother used to do for her in the purest form possible. Recently, she took to her Instagram handle and posted a note about the same.
On April 17, Soha Ali Khan wrote down a heart-touching note for her mother, Sharmila Tagore. In the long note, Soha talked about the changes she felt in herself after giving birth to her little daughter, Inaaya. She admitted that she now understands her mother better and wants to thank her for all the selfless things she has done for her.

Her long note can be read as,
“Being the youngest in my family I wasn’t responsible for anyone else, so having a daughter was a life-changing experience. I constantly worry about her wellbeing even when I know someone is looking after her when I’m away.
It puts all that my mother did for me while I was growing up, into perspective. Thank you, Amman for being my guiding light, for keeping me safe and for keeping me healthy.
Let’s take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank our mom warriors for always going beyond and keeping us on the pedestal.”
