Draupadi Shastra Utha Lo: Vrajesh Hirjee Recites Powerful Poem About Anger Over Increasing Rape Cases

In the wake of the Hathras gang-rape, actor Vrajesh Hirjee recently recited a hard-hitting poem – Draupadi Shastra Utha Lo – that captures the anger many of us are feeling. It is heartbreaking how there doesn’t seem to an end to rape cases in India.

After Nirbhaya, Diksha, Kathua, Unnao and now Hathras, many of us are not only heartbroken but also angry to see our daughters struggling to feel safe in their own country. 

Recently, actor Vrajesh Hirjee narrated a powerful poem that captured the pain and anger over the increasing rape cases. This hard-hitting poem has been written by Pushyamitra Upadhyay.
