Priyanka Singh, Also Known as Sonu Di:
Sushant Singh Rajput, once shared in an interview that though he loves all his sisters, he is closest to Priyanka Singh as she gets him. Priyanka, also known as Sonu Di, is a lawyer by profession. Both Priyanka and her husband Siddharth Tanwar are practicing lawyers in Delhi.
Calling Priyanka Singh his ‘Sona Chidiya’ from Sonchiriya (golden bird and one of Sushant Singh Rajput’s films), the doting brother had called his sister the ‘keeper of my mother’s light’. Sushant’s letter could be read as,

Case Developments:
Recently, Bandra Police filed an FIR against Priyanka Singh for the abetment of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. Sushant’s girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police against Priyanka, and Delhi hospital doctor for providing a bogus prescription for depression and anxiety drugs. Priyanka Singh has also been booked under the NDPS Act, 1985. As per the chats, it seems like Priyanka was aware of her brother’s deteriorating mental health. Earlier, Rhea had also accused Priyanka of touching her inappropriately in a drunk state.
Mitu Singh
Mitu Singh is a state-level cricketer, who has been an inspiration to Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant even dedicated his inspiring performance as a cricketing coach in Kai Po Che to his sister Mitu Singh. He modeled his character and his performance on his sister Mitu Singh. While sharing the inspiration he sought from his sister, he mentioned:
“I haven’t told this to anyone. But it was my sister who inspired my character. I’ve played a male version of Mitu didi. She was a state-level cricketer and as hot-headed and impulsive as my character Ishaan.”
The minute Sushant read the script he knew it was his sister he would model his character on.
“I couldn’t dream of playing any other character. I could immediately identify with Ishaan’s passion for cricket, his constant struggle to make himself understood by family friends and society and his struggle to understand himself. It was my sister Mitu I was looking at in the script.”
Case Developments:
Along with Priyanka, Mitu has also been booked for the abetment of suicide. As per her statement recorded by the CBI, Mitu visited Sushant on June 8, the day Rhea left him. She stayed with the actor, cooked for him, and returned to her Goregaon residence to look after her daughter. But, when Sushant didn’t answer her calls for two consecutive days, she called his roommate Siddharth Pithani. It was then, she came to know that the actor had locked his bedroom. She left for the Bandra residence but as soon as she reached the residence, she received a call from Pithani stating that Sushant had hanged himself.
Neetu Singh, also known as Rani Di
Neetu Singh, also known as Rani Di is the eldest sibling of Sushant Singh Rajput. She is the wife of Haryana ADGP Om Prakash Singh. She is 12 years elder to the late actor. Sushant Singh Rajput had once shared that Rani Di was like his ‘second mom’. He had dedicated a post to Neetu Singh on Mother’s Day in 2016 and shared,
“My sister who has been my second mom since I was a kid… Love you my sis for always being there… !!” On Raksha Bandhan, Rani Di had penned a heartfelt note for her brother that translated as, “ It is the first time in 35 years that the puja thal is decorated, the diya is lit, but I cannot perform aarti for you. I cannot tie the rakhi on your wrist. How do I learn to live with you?”

Case Development:
Sushant’s brother-in-law, Om Prakash Singh appeared in headlines after Rhea told the Supreme Court that she has been falsely implicated in the FIR registered against her by Rajput’s father and Om Prakash. In her Supreme Court petition, Rhea also alleged that OP Singh ‘ pressurized’ Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pithani to raise questions about her, reported India Today. She further mentioned about how Siddharth received a conference phone call on July 22 from Sushant’s brother-in-law and sister Mitu Singh, asking him details about Rhea and her expenses. The e-mail further read that Pithani received another call on July 27 from OP Singh to give a statement to Bihar Police against Rhea.
Kirti Shweta Singh
On June 18, Kirti Shweta Singh made headlines when she posted a heartfelt tribute to her brother on her Facebook wall. Penning down emotional note, she requested people to not only be kind but compassionate too. She later arranged a global prayer meet for the late star. She also put up billboards of Sushant in Hollywood to make sure she doesn’t leave any stone unturned in seeking justice for SSR.
Kirti embarked on her successful career journey in 2005 as a beauty consultant for the popular cosmetic brand L’Oreal. After completing her fashion designing course, she joined Celebrity Fashions Ltd. She has reportedly modeled for famous brands like Schwarzkopf, Kingfisher, and many others.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she has also worked in Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty’s 2004 film ‘Phir Milenge’. With three post-secondary college degrees, two bachelor’s, and an MBA from San Jose State University, currently, Kirti is a successful entrepreneur based in California.
