Have you ever wondered – What is the SECRET to a long life?
Is it eating healthy food?
Is it going for regular gym and fitness sessions?
Is it practicing meditation to stay calm and positive?
Is it avoiding the risky way of living?
Well, one of the oldest women in the US recently revealed her secret to a long life which may surprise you.
Louise Signore, a resident of New York, recently celebrated her 107th birthday and when asked to share the secret of her long life, her answer took many of us by surprise.
Her mantra: STAY SINGLE, NEVER GET MARRIED!
While some of us would agree and some disagree, but she really believes that the reason why she was able to live through an entire century was that she NEVER got married.
She continued,
“I think the secret of 107: I never got married. I think that’s the secret. My sister says, ‘I wish I never got married.’”
But apart from being single Louise Signore also maintains a healthy diet and makes sure she exercises regularly.
This adventurous soul shared:
“Food and exercise and you have to have a system if you go to sleep at 11, don’t go to at 9 o’ clock, at 2 o’clock, that’s not good. If they have exercise, I do the exercise. If they have dancing, I dance. I still do a little dancing. After my lunch, I will play bingo, so I had a full day.”.
God bless this amazing woman who is 107 years old today! Big party with her friends and family in the Bronx. Lots of keys to living so long — including eating Italian food, dancing, and she emphasized never getting married ???????? pic.twitter.com/YJUD9iD5s2

While Louise is celebrating more than a century of her healthy single and happy life, we wonder why in our society a woman needs to be judged for being SINGLE?
Why do “Rishta wali aunties” start lining up at home once a girl enters her 20s?
Many Indian women under pressure of ‘log kya kahengey‘ are still forced to marry, even when the suitor doesn’t deserve them. And, more often than not these marriages land up into a disappointment, annoyance, and agony.
