Life in the film industry is not only about glitz and glory. The actors are not just characters. They are the people living real life just like everyone else. They also go through breakdowns and emotional turmoils in their real life. Fortunate ones are those who find support to come out of it. Actress Celina Jaitley’s life has been in a similar situation. The sudden loss of her loved ones pushed her into depression, but Celina’s husband, Peter Haag provided her the support and care she needed in that difficult phase of her life.
The love and care Celina Jaitley received from her husband Peter Haag during her fight with depression, speaks a volume about their relationship and bonding.
Celina Jaitley married Austrian hotelier and entrepreneur Peter Haag on 23rd July 2010. She has always remained active on social media. Her life seems picture-perfect with a loving husband and children. In 2012, Celina and Peter became a proud parents of twin sons Winston Jaitley Hagg and Viraaj Jaitley Hagg. In 2017, Celina and Peter again became proud parents of twin sons. However, one of their twin sons couldn’t survive due to a heart ailment and left the world.
Losing a child could be an unbearable loss for any mother. Around the same time, Celina lost her father, and, later her mother too passed away after fighting a long battle with cancer. It shattered Celina completely. Sudden and untimely goodbyes are the most painful ones. It is a scary thought to even imagine that someone you love the most will not be there one day. No words can ever ease the pain of losing your loved ones.
In an interview, Celina opened up about the unfortunate incidents of her life and shared,
“You can never find closure when you lose the most important and valuable things in your life. Daddy had just passed away and, suddenly mama too. The truth is you can never get closure from losing your parents.”
She finds it too painful to talk about her late child, Shamsher Jaitley Haag. The back-to-back tragedies took a toll on Celina’s mental health and, she went into depression.
Celina further shared how her husband Peter Haag helped her to come out of the acute depression. Celina shared that her husband left his job in Dubai and decided to move back to Austria till she gets better. Getting my husband’s support made her feel better. They disconnected from everything and, that helped her overcome the depression. She felt better in the company of her husband.
Celina still finds it difficult to talk about her loss. Slowly she is learning to live with her pain. She values the love and happiness she is receiving from her husband Peter Haag and her three children. Her children Winston, Viraj, and Arther are filling her life with joy. Her short film, ‘Season’s Greetings’ too helped her overcome the depression.
Peter Haag’s love and support for Celina Jaitley is a great example of a true partnership in marriage. At IFORHER, we are in awe of Peter Haag’s support and hope every husband seeks inspiration from him.
