So, on the housewarming ceremony of the newly-constructed house that his wife had always dreamt of, this husband did something unimaginable. The businessman didn’t know how to include his late wife in the celebration, so he decided to include her life-size silicon statue at the foyer of their new home. He further added how he lost his wife MVK Madhavi in a fatal accident while traveling to Tirupati with their two daughters.  Unfortunately, MVK Madhavi died on the spot.

Srinivas arrived at this heartwarming idea after meeting with an architect, Mahesh Rangannadavaru, during one of his business trips. The architect introduced him to Gombe Mane, popular toymakers in Bengaluru city to make his dream a reality. While sharing the details, Srinivas added:

“Mahesh told me that Gombe Mane had also done some work for Tontadarya Mutt in Gadag. I don’t regret it at all. This is the kind of gesture I was looking for. I placed the order about a year ago. I gave them several pictures of my wife. She looks so real,”

Many of the guests were pleasantly surprised at seeing Madhavi at the entrance of the house.  While she was decked in a pink saree and gold jewelry, Madhavi along with her husband greeted all their guests with a smile on her face that never faded. While sharing about his wife’s dream, Srinivas added:

“Everyone was so surprised. They all believed for a few seconds that it could actually be my wife. It was my wife’s dream to construct a bungalow. Now she is not there to live in it. The statue is a way to reinforce that she is still here,”
