So, yesterday was the day when our husbands, sons or fathers tried to make us feel special.
They tried to make us feel special in their own special ways. Some gave us gifts while some gave us memories to cherish!
And the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, was no different!
In the times, when celebrities tend to show how grand their life is, the God of Cricket shows the world how small gestures can make people feel incredibly loved!
Sachin Tendulkar, in a sweet gesture on Women’s Day, made “Baingan Ka Bharta” for his mother, wife and daughter.
After being retired from international cricket, Sachin has indulged himself in cooking. And, hence on a special day, Tendulkar decided to do something sweet for his mother, wife Anjali, and daughter Sara.
The man, who has been worshipped for scoring 100 international hundreds, could be seen cooking what looked like tasty “Baingan Bharta” in this special video.
As Tendulkar learnt the art of cooking from his mother, it wasn’t a surprise when he wanted his mother to taste the dish first. You can see him saying:
“This bharta is for my mother, Anjali and Sara. I want my mother to taste this first because she spent hours and hours cooking this for me when I was a kid”Â
An Important Lesson That We Need To Learn From This Gesture
In our fast-paced culture, dominated by technology and electronic communication, it’s easy to understand why we’ve lost so much human interaction and left behind the small gestures that can make people feel loved.
We’ve abandoned feelings and emotions for convenience and speed, barely ever leaving thoughtful notes for someone we care about, because texting is so much faster.
No one believes in small gestures anymore. People want to show the world how grand, different and better their lives are!
But stories like these make you feel that to make your loved one feel special you don’t need money! What you need is just a way to show them how much you love and care!
