In the official Hindi remake of ‘Forrest Gump’, Aamir Khan plays the role of Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie is directed by Advait Chandan, who also directed Secret Superstar. The movie has Kareena Kapoor Khan and Naga Chaitanya in the prominent roles.
2. Pritam Pyare
Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, is making a debut with the web series – Pritam Pyare. This web series will feature Aamir Khan in an extended cameo. The show is backed by Aamir Khan Productions.
3. 2 Brides
Though Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao may have parted ways as husband and wife, professionally they are very much working together on Kiran Rao’s new project Brides. With 2 Brides, Kiran Rao will be returning as director after directing Dhobi Ghat years ago. The movie will feature Aamir in a cameo.
4. Saalam Venky
Salaam Venky is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Revathi, who also directed the national award-winning film Mitr: My Friend. The film stars Kajol, Aahana Kumra, and Rahul Bose. It is said that the movie will feature Aamir Khan in a cameo.
According to Mid-Day, “For the cameo, Revathy wanted a powerful actor, and Aamir was her first choice. When he heard the narration, he readily agreed to come on board.”
5. Spanish Film ‘Campeones’ Remake
There were reports that Khan is in talks to headline the project, which would be directed by ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ director RS Prasanna. On his 57th birthday, when the reporters asked about an update on the remake, he said,” I haven’t announced my next film yet, how did you get to know? Planning is on, I’ll let you know soon”. The Spanish movie reportedly follows the life of an arrogant, drunkard coach, who trains a team of intellectually disabled people. We hope Aamir will soon make the much-awaited announcement.
