But does Bollywood bow down? Absolutely not! Despite the relentless backlash, the industry marches forward as these star kids from esteemed Bollywood families prepare to make their grand debut in 2024. And, that’s because no matter how much we diss nepotism, we will still watch movies of these star kids.
List of star kids who will make their Bollywood debuts in 2024
1. Shanaya Kapoor
With Karan Johar’s Bedhadak, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor & Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor was all set to make her Bollywood debut in 2022. But, unfortunately, the movie got shelved. Now, as per recent reports, Shanaya will make her debut in 2024 with either another Karan Johar’s production or opposite Mohanlal in ‘Vrushabha.’
2. Rasha Thandani
Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, is set to make a grand Bollywood debut alongside Ajay Devgn and his nephew Aaman Devgan. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor,
3. Jibraan Khan
Another star kid set to make his Bollywood debut in 2024 is Jibraan Khan, the son of renowned actor Firoz Khan, best known for his portrayal of Arjun in the beloved Mahabharat series. Jibraan has already garnered attention for his previous roles as a child actor in iconic films such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Rishtey, and Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta. Now, he is all set for his much-awaited debut in the highly anticipated film ‘Ishq Vishq Rebound,’ where he will star opposite Hrithik Roshan’s cousin.
4. Aaman Devgn
Aaman Devgan, nephew of Ajay Devgn, is gearing up for his Bollywood debut alongside Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the anticipation is high for the Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor production.
5. Ahaan Pandey
After Ananya Panday, her cousin brother Ahaan Panday is all set to make his acting debut. Ahaan will be making his debut with director Mohit Suri’s young love story which is being produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films (YRF).
6. Junaid Khan
Another star kid who will make a Bollywood debut in 2024 is Aamir Khan’s son – Junaid Khan. As per reports, he has already finished the shooting of his first project Maharaja under Yash Raj Productions. The movie is inspired by the 1862 Maharaja Libel Case and will soon be released. The movie also stars Shalini Pandey in the lead role.
7. Aryan Khan
Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan is all set to embark on his directorial journey with ‘Stardom,’ a series that delves into the aspirations of a young Delhi boy striving for fame. While drawing inspiration from Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic journey in the industry, it’s important to note that ‘Stardom’ is not a biopic. Joining the cast is Bobby Deol, with a special cameo appearance by Ranbir Kapoor.
8. Pashmina Roshan
Daughter of Rajesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan’s cousin, Pashmina Roshan will make her Bollywood debut in Ishq Vishk sequel titled Ishq Vishk Rebound.
9. Ibrahim Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son, the brother of Sara Ali Khan, Ibraham Ali Khan will also make his Bollywood debut in 2024 with the debut film, titled “Sarzameen.” takes an unconventional route with no leading lady opposite him, portraying him as a soldier. Additionally, it marks Kajol’s return to Dharma Productions. Directed by Kayoze Irani, son of Boman Irani, this film promises a fresh perspective on storytelling.
