Fans and critics have taken to social media to share their varied opinions on the movie, which attempts to tackle modern relationship issues in a progressive way. While some viewers have praised the movie for its attempt to break away from Luv Ranjan’s earlier misogynistic films and handle topics such as Mumma’s/Dadi’s boys and independent career-oriented women who work after marriage, others have criticized it for being super boring and super stretched.
With mixed reviews, many audiences have taken to Twitter to share their own thoughts on the movie. Some viewers have applauded the performances of Ranbir and Shraddha, while others have criticized the screenplay and direction. Here are a few reactions from Twitter:
Was just rewatching #TJMMOnNETFLIX and realized that Mickey was using voice changing app to talk with tinnie which is why she could not recognize his voice.

Not interested in watching the film but I skimmed through few scenes of #TuJhoothiMaiMakkaar and it’s true and crisp 4K (obviously since no VFX heavy scenes). Focus pull inaccuracies are clearly visible because of the good resolution. Most scenes are as saturated as they can get.

Shraddha Kapoor trying to act serious is hilarious. #TuJhoothiMaiMakkaar
