A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than self. And one such hero is Constable Manvi.
In today’s world where most of us are losing compassion for each other, Manvi’s act of kindness is hard to ignore.
The Constable Manvi went out of her way to help an elderly woman, who had not eaten in several days. Her heart-touching act of going beyond her duty has been praised not only by people but also Director General of Police.
According to Indian Express, Constable Manvi- posted in Dhanghata area of Sant Kabir Nagar district in UP- was going to a bank for her personal work. It was then that she saw an old lady standing in the scorching heat.
When Manvi got to know that the old lady had not eaten in days, she decided to help her instead of turning a blind eye.
She has been commended by the Director General of Police, OP Singh in an appreciation letter.
