Recently, a Kolkata bride won many hearts over the internet when she ditched the traditional bidai in style. This loveable bride took the car wheels in her own hands and drove her husband to her sasural.
According to Times Now, a video of the 28-year-old bride, Sneha Singhi, stepping into the driver’s seat in a red lehenga along with her husband by her side and driving off has gone viral online!
While talking to Times Now, Sneha mentioned:
“To be honest, I did not think of it as women empowerment. I have always driven him around wherever he has wanted to go. In fact, that’s how our first date ended – I dropped him home.”
She had asked her husband about driving to her sasural a month before the wedding. However, she completely forgot about it when the moment finally arrived. Just when she was about to enter the car, her husband reminded her of her plan and she excitedly said, “Yes, let’s go!”
