Sakshi shared with TOI,

“With the blessings of my parents and the support of my family and friends, I have adopted a baby girl who would soon turn 9 months old.  I am extremely delighted to share my happiness with you as I welcome the bundle of joy in my life. Inspiring women like Sakshi, are the befitting reply to our society which builds unnecessary pressure on women to get married as they turn 25 and to become a mother as they turn 27. She is an inspiration that no one can dictate your life or your dreams.

It is beautiful to see how her entire family is supporting her. Recently, Sakshi’s brother took to Twitter to welcome Dityaa Singh Tanwar – the newest member in the family with a picture, saying,

“Welcoming the littlest member of our family #DityaaSinghTanwar.”

After Susmita Sen, Sakshi represents the young women, who are taking the adoption route to listen to their maternal instincts. We congratulate Sakshi and hope our society will show respect to these single mothers as much as they do to the married mothers.

And, we think many people do agree with us:

Remember that a single mom is just like any other mom and that her No.1 priority is her Kids. Any parent does whatever it takes for their kids and single mothers are no different!
