Google Family Link App launched in India is meant to help parents remotely control and track their kids’ smartphones (mainly Android) activities.

This easy to use app would help parents set and implement digital ground rules for their kids. The app would allow the parents to manage what their kids are watching and what Google Accounts, devices and apps being used.

As of 2017, the app can control smartphones running on Android Nougat 7.o and higher. It also works for selected smartphones running on Marshmallow devices.

3. Track screentime: Most importantly, parents can decide and control the right amount of screen time for their kids and set a time limit. And, it has a master feature to lock kid’s devices when its time to spend some offline time with the family or its time to spend outside in open.
