Neena Gupta’s Viral Video Is For Every Parent Who Shies Away From Praising Their Kids

Neena Gupta’s latest video captures a very important parenting lesson that we feel is a must-watch for every Indian Parent – to know the importance of constantly telling our kids how we admire them.

Indian parents always shy away from celebrating their kids’ achievements – with the core objective to push them to work harder or superstitious belief of “nazar lag jayegi“.

However, in these testing times many of us, especially our kids, need to know they are admired, loved, and respected.

In line with the same message, Neena Gupta shared a video in which she confessed that she did the same mistake. Just like her mother, Neena did not tell her daughter Masaba Gupta how proud she is of Masaba & her achievements.

She went on to talk about Masaba’s entry into the world of fashion, her first successful print, and described her outfit in the video, which was also Masaba’s creation.

At IFORHER, we have a humble request to all Indian parents who have a tendency to downplay their children’s achievements, in order to push them to work harder.

Please let your kids know that they are loved and how proud you are of them. Your positive words are the easiest form of love and affection for your kids during these testing times.
