Sweltering summers can be very difficult, especially in a country like India. Hence, it becomes mandatory to stay hydrated during this season. Fruits in summer can contribute a lot when it comes to staying hydrated because they provide an instant boost of energy and help reduce tiredness and fatigue. They keep the system cool and comfortable.

1. Watermelon

This fruit can be called the love of many people when it comes to summers. This cooling and juicy fruit are the best in summers because it is both healthy and easily available. It is a major source of vitamins and water. It has got Vitamin A and Vitamin C which boost immunity. It also has Vitamin B6 and potassium which maintains water balance in the body and prevents sunstroke and cancer. It also prevents muscle cramps and keeps the heart, healthy.

2. Mango

The king of fruits i.e. mangoes is a rich source of nutrients. It contains around 20 minerals and vitamins. It is rich in fiber which aids digestion. It has got Vitamins A and C with potassium. Apart from this, a pigment named zeaxanthin protects the eyes by filtering out harmful blue rays.

3. Papaya

Papaya contains Vitamin A and C which are great for health. It can be eaten both ways whether ripe or unripe. It contains papain which is a compound good for gastrointestinal health. It cures indigestion and helps in weight loss. It prevents skin damage and reduces inflammation with a decent amount of antioxidants.  

4. Guava

18. Cucumber
