Last year, when Bollywood movies failed miserably to create magic, web shows like Panchayat, Gullak and many more kept us entertained. And, 2023 is no different as far as entertaining web shows are concerned.
In the following months, there are some great web shows that would be premiered on various different OTT platforms. From romance to crime to comedy, these shows will keep you hooked and entertained. So, don’t forget to clear your busy schedule to binge-watch these eagerly anticipated shows.
Upcoming Hindi Web Series In 2023
1. Asur Season 2
This murder thriller was a huge success when it was first launched in 2020. Starring Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Ridhi Dogra, and Anupriya Goenka, the show is returning with Season 2. As per various sources, Asur’s season 2 will be available around month of March on Voot. In case you haven’t watched Asur’s first season, then it is a must add to your binge-watch list. 2. The Family Man Season 3
The show, The Family Man, doesn’t need any introduction. After two successful seasons, the series will return with more nail-biting investigations as the protagonist deals with his personal troubles and family concerns. Season 3’s plot is most likely to revolve around the COVID-19 pandemic and China’s attack on India’s North-Eastern states. Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, and Priyamani, the show is expected to release in Q2 2023.
The release date of Family Man Season 3 is not confirmed yet. As per many sources, the release date of Family Man Season 3 is likely to be in Q2 2023. But, we are still waiting for the exact dates.
3. Mirzapur Season 3
Mirzapur Season 3 on Amazon Prime is one of the most anticipated releases of 2023. Two families from a small Uttar Pradesh town have their fortunes interwoven in this novel. With their popular roles of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit, Munna Tripathi, Golu Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, and Shweta Tripathi will return.It is expected that no one will be changed in Mirzapur Season 3; the cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Duggal, and Priyanshi Painyuli, among others. The makers are expected to announce the release date soon.
5. Made in Heaven Season 2
We all fell in love with the Delhi wedding planners – Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra. And we are so excited that after a successful season 1, the show is soon going to return with another entertaining season. The show is expected to be back with crazier and grander aristocratic nuptials. Just like in the first season, the two will plan weddings while juggling their own personal issues.
Starring Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Shashank Arora, and Kalki Koechlin, the show will be soon back at Amazon Prime Video. Last year, Amazon Prime Video announced that show will return with the second season. However, they have not disclosed a specific date; keep tuned for updates as soon as we receive official confirmation.

6. Pataal Lok 2
Starring Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Ishwak Singh, and Niharika Lyra Dutt, this show is based on the underworld, swarg, and narak. The show follows the journey of a disgruntled inspector, who is assigned to investigate a high-profile crime. Pataal Lok, the popular mythical crime thriller, will return with a second season on Amazon Prime by mid of 2023.
7. Scam 2003
After the successful Scam 1992, Hansal Mehta is gearing to make a comeback with another intriguing scam i.e. Scam 2003. Based on Abdul Karim Telgi, the show will have Gagan Dev Riar to play the title character in the series. Though the official date is yet to be announced, the show will be releasing soon on SonyLiv
7. Soup
Soup, a dark-comedy criminal series from Abhishek Chaubey, would feature Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sen Sharma. The plot of Soup revolves around an untalented chef Swathi Shetty, who plans to replace her husband Prabhakar with Umesh in order to save her restaurant. But a hapless local official and a few amateur crooks get involved leading to a fun ride. Netflix recently released the trailer as well.
8. Indian Police Force
Just like Marvel, Rohit Shetty is known for his iconic cop universe. Indian Police Force, a cop drama by the renowned director starring Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi, is highly anticipated. The series will be releasing soon on Amazon Prime Video. There has been no official statement about the release date.
9. Farzi
Shahid Kapoor will make his digital debut in this next new release on Amazon Prime Video, which also stars Raashii Khanna and Vijay Sethupathi. We will get to watch plenty of action, crime, scams, corruption, and dark humour as Shahid serves as the focal point of a world of fake currency and the black market. Web series is scheduled to release on 10th Feb 2023.
10. The Railway Men
Yash Raj Films Entertainment’s first web series, The Railway Men, will feature actors like R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu Sharma, and Babil Khan, and is being helmed by Shiv Rawail. We are hoping the show based on Bhopal Gas Tragedy will stream in the third quarter of 2023 on Prime Video.
11. Panchayat Season 3
Another upcoming Hindi web show of 2023 is Panchayat Season 3. Yes! After winning our hearts with Season 1 & Season 2, Panchayat will return with another season on Prime Video. As per various sources, Panchayat Season 3 will be released in May or June 2023.
12. Tiwari
Talented Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar is set to make her web series debut with ‘Tiwari’. According to the makers, the actor plays the titular role in the small town-set thriller show which has an emotional mother-daughter story at its core. There has been no official statement about the release date.
