Society may fool you to believe that divorce is the end of it all. But, inspiring souls like Samantha Ruth Prabhu are the role models we need. No one can deny how Samantha Ruth Prabhu has embarked on her new innings after divorce has an inspiring lesson for all of us.
It was heartbreaking how after announcing separation on social media, she was subjected to unfair judgements from the fans. From affair to abortion, people speculated bizzare reasons for her divorce and blamed her!
But, instead of getting bogged down by the criticism, she chose to fly high and focus on herself. Recently, Samantha reposted a powerful message on Instagram that is a must-read for everyone.
This powerful message requested parents to invest in their daughter’s education rather than saving up for her wedding day.
“Make your daughter so capable that you don’t have to worry who will marry her. Instead of saving money for her wedding day, spend it on her education, and most importantly, instead of preparing her for marriage, prepare her for herself. Teach her self-love, confidence, and that she can throat punch someone if she needs to,” the message read.
We wish many more parents would seek inspiration from Samantha’s inspiring message and would invest on their daughters, rather than saving up for her marriage. If you want your daughter to be happy, raise them to be self-loving, educated and independent women.
Sometime back, even Malaika Arora mentioned how marriage isn’t what makes a woman happy.
She shared her powerful views on happy women: “The happiest women today are not the married ones. They’re not the single ones. They’re not the ones with stable careers and good incomes. The happiest women are the ones who made a choice to love themselves wholly and truly.” (Read her complete interview here.) Inspiring single women like Malaika and Samantha are shattering the social perception of what makes a woman happy and we are loving it!
