Recently, the long-anticipated trailer for Tiger 3, featuring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif & Imran Hashmi, was released on YouTube. And, while the trailer of the most awaited movie of 2023 resonated with some, it left many disappointed.
The trailer of the spy thriller commences with an action-packed motorcycle chase, introducing the original characters. And, as the trailer unfolds, more and more action sequences try to engage the audience. In case you haven’t watched the trailer, here it is:
As soon as the trailer was released, excited fans streamed it on YouTube. But, the trailer failed to meet the fans’ expectations and left them disappointed. Here are the 5 major reasons why 5 makers miserably failed with the Tiger 3 trailer & left fans hugely disappointed:
1. Nothing New: Very Similar To Recent Spy Movies like Pathaan
Many fans felt that Tiger 3 failed to bring anything new to the table and felt like a stale offering in terms of plot and execution. Many shared how the movie looked very similar to all the recent spy movies. The absence of fresh ideas or innovative execution or originality in the narrative disappointed many who were expecting something fresh and distinct.
Trailer is not as good as expected or as the teaser suggested.nothing new in storyline(same case with almost all spy thrillers)but the main letdown for me is Salman not putting any extra effort in his acting, like srk did in pathaan.

Nah. They are just taking the audience for granted now. Let’s be honest, pathaan was shit. It rode the wave of kings comeback. A one off, okay fine. But they are just repeating plots with different big actors as villains.

The only problem with this universe seems to be the very predictable story lines.
I mean what John executed in Pathan .. is in many ways same as what Imran is going to do in Tiger3.
Hope same doesn’t go out with NTR being a rebel/Pakistani in Hrithik’s WAR2.

2. Pakistan Is Once Again the Enemy, Just Like Other Indian Spy Thrillers
Pakistan being portrayed as the primary antagonist in yet another Indian spy thriller left fans feeling that the storyline lacked originality. The repetitive use of Pakistan as the enemy in Indian spy movies felt stale and failed to bring a new angle to the narrative.

Why not make a movie with china as the villain. Infact just go all out and cast a north eastern guy/girl living as a spy in China. Or maybe a full out action movie with all set near the China border, maybe foiling an operation, something! Be new!

3. No Hard-hitting Dialogues like Pathaan or Tiger Zinda Hai
Unlike the impactful and memorable dialogues seen in Pathaan and Tiger Zinda Hai, Tiger 3 lacked hard-hitting lines that could resonate with the audience. Fans missed the powerful dialogues that often become the soul of action-packed Bollywood films.
But, unlike Pathaan, not one standout or memorable dialogue from Salman to let the audiences gauge the grandness of what’s coming!

Be honest man it was mid asf, VFX is ass… Tiger just doesn’t feel like Tiger. Emraan is looking to be underwhelming, The repetitiveness of mentioning Tiger bruh it ain’t seem great, I hope I am wrong when theatrically viewing the film.

5. Salman Fails to Impress
Salman Khan, despite his star power, couldn’t impress fans with his performance in the Tiger 3 trailer. His portrayal seemed lacking in conviction and failed to evoke the excitement and enthusiasm that fans usually associate with his on-screen presence, leaving them disappointed.
